Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show – Blowing Rock Equestrian

Take part in the 87 year tradition of bringing together horse enthusiasts and their families at The Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show held at the L.M. Tate Horse Show Grounds, at the Blowing Rock Equestrian Preserve on June 9 through June 12. This year features the amazing high stepping American Saddlebreed known as “The Peacocks of the Horse Show World.” This all day event starts daily at 8am and is open to all spectators (however, the preserve will not be open to campers or day parkers during this event).

Steeped in tradition this Blowing Rock Charity Horse Show has attracted annual exhibitors not only from the US but from all over the world and is recognized as the oldest continuous outdoor horse show in America. Proceeds are used to support local organizations which include the Blowing Rock Fire Department, the Blowing Rock Rescue Squad, the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation and the Watauga County Humane Society. In addition, funding has been provided to assist Blazing Saddles, a dedicated volunteer-based organization that provides therapeutic riding for the handicapped.

You don’t want to miss out on beauty of these High Country Horses, so bring your family and friends for great sights, unforgettable memories and support a great cause.
