Garden City Beach

Myrtle Beach is one of the fantastic vacation destinations spotlighted by our South Carolina Web Cams. Many people view the soothing images provided by our Web Cams for Myrtle Beach SC as a quick escape from day to day pressures, but there is nothing like visiting this one-of-a-kind location firsthand. There are so many Fun Things to Do, Attractions, great Shopping Malls, premier Golf Courses, and fantastic Oceanfront Restaurants that you’ll never run out of ways to entertain yourself or your family. However, if you need a break from all the activity or are looking for a restful retreat, you may consider heading to Garden City Beach.

Just eight miles south of the vacation Mecca that is Myrtle Beach, Garden City Beach offers the same stunning beaches, breathtaking scenery, and fun activities as Myrtle Beach—just on a slightly smaller, less hectic scale. Located on the southern part of the Grand Strand, often referred to as the South Strand, this great family beach is the perfect place to participate in all of your favorite seaside activities. From fishing to surfing, from shelling to boating, there are dozens of things to do at Garden City Beach. You can head to the Garden City Beach Marina or walk the brand new 250-foot creek walk, both of which are fantastic places to go fishing, crabbing, birding, biking, or just enjoy the scenery. This great vacation destination is also home to superb golf, tennis, and shopping, not to mention Vacation Rentals galore. Garden City Beach is also just two miles north of Murrells Inlet, the “Seafood Capital of South Carolina,” so be prepared to feast on some fantastic fare. Surrounded by water to the east and west, Garden City Beach is the perfect place to go to escape the crowds while enjoying the best that South Carolina’s coast has to offer.

Our Beach Cams showcase fantastic areas like Myrtle Beach, but coastal South Carolina is home to a string of fantastic vacation destinations. When you pay a visit to the areas displayed via our Live Cams, you’ll want to be sure to visit the smaller, lesser known areas that surround them, like Calabash, Little River, Pawleys Island, and the like.
