Banner Elk celebrates their 100th year anniversary this weekend and the festivities planned should provide plenty of entertainment in the town. Mountain Top Promotions’ is sponsoring a Banner Elk Fine Art & Craft show this weekend and their should be lots of artists’ showcased around the Banner Elk Town Hall. Also, the Avery Journal Times is co-sponsoring the event. The show will feature all types of art and handmade items. There should be plenty of great food, crafts and plenty of folks enjoying the amazing summer weather this weekend.
