The Oconaluftee Islands Park cam, located in Cherokee, NC, offers a spectacular view of the Oconaluftee River. As the Oconaluftee passes through Cherokee, it is split by an amazing, grassy island – the Oconaluftee Islands Park – sheltered by canopies of oak and sycamore. The water ranges from ankle deep for toddlers to chest deep on Mom and Dad. During the warmer months, this camera offers a unique view of the many people who go fishing on the river.
