Ski Beech North Carolina is the highest ski resort in the eastern United States and boasts amazing, panoramic views from many of its slopes. Located on the ridges of Sugar Mountain NC is Sugar Ski Resort, the ski resort with the largest vertical drop in the state. By far the most visited of the North Carolina Ski Resorts, Sugar Ski is a phenomenal place hit the slopes. Hawksnest Snow Tubing Park

Hawksnest Snow Tubing Park (and NC Ziplines in the warmer months) is located atop Seven Devils, a mountain peak that rises high above the town of Banner Elk. The mountain was once the home of Hawksnest Ski Resort and Hanging Rock Golf Club, but owners of the resort decided to forge a new path and close the ski resort while maintaining their operations as a large-scale tubing complex: the largest in the state of North Carolina, in fact.
