Sugar Mountain Oktoberfest
The Village of Sugar Mountain may be a quaint community, but every year it hosts some infamous events that people travel from all around to attend and enjoy. Oktoberfest takes place annually in the middle of October when the leaves on the mountainsides and the surrounding peaks are ablaze with vibrant colors. The Oktoberfest Celebration at Sugar Mountain has been going strong for over 24 years, and promises to be a grand time. Visitors attending Oktoberfest will enjoy the arts and crafts vendors, chairlift rides up to Sugar’s 5,300 foot peak, and tons of German beers, food, and music. The festival lasts both Saturday and Sunday over the Oktoberfest weekend.
SugarFest
SugarFest is the large-scale event that takes place just before the Holidays at Sugar Mountain Ski Resort. Annually, it is hosted the second weekend in December and it never disappoints. Visitors travel from all around to enjoy the fantastic discounts on skiing, boarding, and lodging and the jam-packed schedule of activities over the two-day event. In the past, the festival has included instructional workshops and clinics from Olympic medalists.
