As many of you know, we have always enjoyed numerous views via webcams of one form or another at the top of the highest incorporated town in the Eastern United States.
Now, thanks to Judy Decker and the Homeowners' Association of Pinnacle Inn at the top of Beech Mountain, we have an HD Streaming Webcam running that is showing some outstanding views of Grandfather Mountain and the peak elevations of Beech Mountain Ski Resort!
If you are familiar with Beech Mountain you will certainly be familiar with the peak portion of the mountain that shows a cluster of slopeside homes and chalets that frame the ski slopes. It is a shot that has inspired tens of thousands of "Kodak Moments" from visitors and residents for decades.
Well now, thanks to the Pinnacle Inn you can visit that view anytime you like! The BEECH MOUNTAIN LIVE CAM provides us a little bit of a look at the new 5506' Bar which is just off the top left of the camera angle that zooms to the top of Beech.
Then we get several angles of Shawneehaw, Robbins Run, Southern Star and other trails at the mid portion of the mountain.
