North Carolina Wine Festival

The 11th annual North Carolina Wine Festival will be held on May 28, 2011 from noon – 6:30 p.m. at Tanglewood, near Winston-Salem, NC. The North Carolina Wine Festival is the largest wine festival in North Carolina. Approximately 40 wineries from around the state of North Carolina will exhibit during the wine festival.

Advance tickets are only $20.00 with same day tickets being $25.00 Parking is free. Children under 12 are free and group discounts are available for groups of 20 or more. Tickets are available at all Triad Harris Teeters beginning May 1. Special VIP tickets for the North Carolina Wine Festival are available with added benefits.

Celebrity entertainment includes The Chairman of the Board with a special tribute to the late General Johnson. The Band of Oz, a popular Carolina beach music band will be performing their hits and other favorites, and finally The Plaids, a new group in the Carolinas will showcase their talents.

Food and arts and crafts vendors will be on hand to help you make this a day the entire family can enjoy. Of course, there’s always the wine tasting from the top wineries in North Carolina.

Come spend the day at the North Carolina Wine Festival sampling the great North Carolina Wines, and supporting a growing industry in North Carolina.
